YURiA-PHARM – General Partner of Lab2Market MedTech

In a world where medical challenges evolve rapidly, the answers are born not only in the laboratories of large corporations, but also within small teams of researchers working on the ideas of tomorrow.

YURiA-PHARM supported the final of Lab2Market MedTech – a program that gives young innovators the opportunity to turn their developments into real solutions for healthcare.

We see our role as a corporate player not only in creating our own innovations but also in cultivating an environment where innovation can thrive – a space where young teams have a real chance at breakthrough.

Innovation is not just our internal resource. It’s also the ecosystem we build together.

On April 22, 2025, the final of the Lab2Market MedTech program took place in Kyiv as part of the Ukrainian Intellectual Property Week (IP Week 2025). The event was organized by the National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovation.

Lab2Market MedTech is an adapted entrepreneurial training program that helps researchers, inventors, and scientists transform their most promising medical developments into real business projects.

Following the final pitching session, the jury selected the top three startups of the Lab2Market MedTech 2025 season. These innovators presented projects that have the potential to significantly impact Ukraine’s healthcare sector in the near future:

  1. Tayra AI – an AI-powered solution acting as a “medical scribe” that automatically fills out medical documentation during patient visits.
  2. IMPULSAR – a smart bracelet that can alert people with epilepsy in advance about a high probability of a seizure, allowing them to take timely preventive action.
  3. CAMS-AIR – a technology that uses artificial intelligence to optimize preoperative planning for cardiac surgery, particularly the planning of coronary anastomoses based on coronary angiography data.

Ukrainian scientists and startup teams are capable of developing innovations on a global scale – even under the challenging conditions our country faces today. And when business and government join forces, innovative ideas gain a real chance to become tangible solutions that can transform medicine for the better.
