Acid concentrate for hemodialysis
ABC-44 ACID CONCENTRATE FOR HEMODIALYSIS
For extracorporeal bicarbonate hemodialysis or bicarbonate hemodiafiltration as prescribed by the doctor. It is used only in combination with ready-to-use liquid bicarbonate concentrate 8.4% or with dry bicarbonate concentrates for bicarbonate hemodialysis at the given dilution. The mixing proportions for all ABC-44 acid concentrates are equal to 1+44. In the hemodialysis machine, 1 liter of acid concentrate is mixed with 1.575 liters of liquid bicarbonate concentrate 8.4% and 42.425 liters of purified water to obtain 45 liters of finished dialysate. The mixing proportions in the hemodialysis machine should be set at 1:44.
Note
Other dilutions may endanger the patients. To ensure safety, hemodialysis procedures must be performed by personnel who have the appropriate qualifications in hemodialysis and are familiar with the manual and the instructions for use of the dialysis machine.
Storage conditions: Store at +5 to +30°C.
Keep cans sealed until use.
Shelf life: 2 years.
ABC-34 ACID CONCENTRATE FOR HEMODIALYSIS
For extracorporeal bicarbonate hemodialysis or bicarbonate hemodiafiltration as prescribed by the doctor. It is used only in combination with ready-to-use liquid bicarbonate concentrate 8.4% or with dry bicarbonate concentrates for bicarbonate hemodialysis at the given dilution. The mixing proportions for all ABC-34 acid concentrates are equal to 1+34. In the hemodialysis machine, 1 liter of acid concentrate is mixed with 1.225 liters of liquid bicarbonate concentrate 8.4% and 32.775 liters of purified water to obtain 35 liters of finished dialysate. The mixing proportions in the hemodialysis machine should be set at 1:34.
